The American rock ring Dave Matthews Band has released 9 studio albums, lxxx-five live albums, 3 compilation albums, viii video albums, two extended plays, xx-9 singles (including one as a featured creative person), and 20-ane music videos. DMB has sold over 33 million albums in the United States.[ citation needed ]

Subsequently signing with RCA Records, Dave Matthews Band released its debut studio album, Nether the Table and Dreaming (1994). In the United states of america, the album peaked at number 11 on the Billboard 200[1] and was certified 6 times platinum past the Recording Manufacture Clan of America (RIAA).[two] The group's side by side studio album, Crash (1996), peaked at number two on the Billboard 200[1] and was certified seven times platinum by the RIAA.[ii] Before These Crowded Streets (1998) reached number one on the Billboard 200[1] and was certified iv times platinum past the RIAA;[2] the ring'due south unmarried "Shell", which became the ring'southward first entry on the United states of america Billboard Hot 100, appeared on that album.[iii] Before These Crowded Streets was followed past Everyday (2001) (which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200,[1] was certified 3 times platinum by the RIAA,[two] and featured the band'south offset top twoscore hit, "The Space Betwixt"[3]), Busted Stuff (2002) (which reached number i on the Billboard 200,[1] was certified two times platinum by the RIAA[2] and included some other Acme twoscore hit, "Where Are You Going"[3]), Stand Upwardly (which reached number ane, was certified platinum,[1] [2] and contained the band'due south about successful unmarried to engagement, "American Baby"[2]), Large Whiskey and the GrooGrux King (which debuted at number one[1] and was certified platinum by the RIAA[2]), Away from the World (2012), and Come Tomorrow (2018).

The group has released multiple alive albums throughout its career. While always encouraging fan recordings of concerts for personal enjoyment, the success of the band led to the illegal sale of such recordings. Such copies were frequently very expensive and of low quality. To meet the demand of the illegal distribution of such recordings, the band released its starting time concert album, Live at Red Rocks 8.15.95, in October 1997.[4] As of Baronial 2021, the band has released a total of 96 alive albums, including 56 from the Live Trax serial and 23 from the DMBlive series.
